Free service and audience
The current calculator is provided free of charge, without an account, subscription or purchase. It is a general-audience information utility and is not directed to children under 16. A parent or guardian should supervise use by a younger person.
No visitor is asked to provide a name, age, email address or payment information to calculate placements.
Calculation service described
The utility converts user-confirmed birth inputs into Western tropical sign placements under the documented method. Results depend on date, time confidence, place, timezone resolution, supported range and calculation versions. The audit helps a user inspect those assumptions; it does not certify the historical accuracy of a birth record.
Approximate and unknown-time outputs describe all signs or ranges found under the declared interval rules. They are not probabilities. Rising is omitted when time is unknown and can be unsupported beyond the verified latitude range.
No professional or deterministic advice
A placement does not diagnose a condition, determine personality or compatibility, establish identity, predict an event or decide what someone should do. The project must not be used as an authority for medical care, legal rights, money, employment, fertility, personal safety or another consequential decision. The site does not use fear, urgency or dependency language and does not promise a guaranteed outcome. Its bounded traditional meaning layer remains separate from the calculation and is not professional advice.
User responsibility and acceptable use
Users are responsible for choosing the correct place, interpreting AM/PM, selecting an honest time confidence and checking the displayed timezone/UTC audit. Do not enter another person’s private birth information without a lawful and respectful basis. Do not attempt to use the utility for profiling, discrimination, eligibility decisions or high-impact automated decisions.
Do not probe, overload, bypass safeguards or misrepresent the calculator’s output as scientific proof or professional advice.
Availability, errors, warranties and liability
The service may change, and calculation defects, data errors or interruptions are possible. A reported problem is checked using a reproducible non-sensitive case, the relevant sources and the affected tests. Material corrections receive a dated change note.
The service is supplied on an as-available basis for entertainment and self-reflection. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the operator does not accept responsibility for decisions made from astrological interpretations, unsupported uses, incorrect birth records or circumstances outside reasonable control. Nothing in these terms excludes liability or consumer rights that Irish or applicable EU law does not permit to be excluded.
Intellectual property and permitted use
